Bob and Ian both pointed out that one of the three questions in my post about semantics didn't make any sense and was probably a typo. They're correct. I fixed the original post and I'm duplicating the three questions here:
- If two different portType/operations use the SAME WS-Addressing Action URI and the SAME message body content, are they REQUIRED to mean the same thing?
- If two different portType/operations use DIFFERENT WS-Addressing Action URIs and SAME message body content, are they REQUIRED to mean the same thing?
- If two different portType/operations use the SAME WS-Addressing Action URI and DIFFERENT body content, are they REQUIRED to mean the same thing?
The answers to these three questions say a lot about how one would design a service in the presence of WS-Addressing.
