Getting started again

I've been feeling for a while that I need to spend more time outside The Firm, so it's time to get started blogging again. Some of my old friends were nice enough to give me a new home here at Pluralsight, with a shiny new .Text install and a hefty chunk of disk space, so how could I say no?

I've been dark for quite a while (last November, actually). In the last 6 months, I've been doing a lot of design and development work for my day job, not to mention helping my team navigate its way through a major re-org, and experiencing the joys of fatherhood for the first time.

My goal, as always, is to use this site to share observations about XML and Web service development, topics near and dear to my heart.

Good news! I have been an Ewald fan since G-COM+, Redondo Beach, May 1999. I look forward to your perspectives.

Congratulations re: the youngster.

Hey, congratulations! I wondered where you'd got to!

Hopefully I'll catch you at SellsCon, if not before!
